What BigSpy's free plan shows, and what it hides

We ran one search on BigSpy's free plan and in the free Meta Ad Library on October 14, 2026, to see what each gives for nothing.

BigSpy’s free plan finds a lot and names nobody. A search for “posture corrector” on Facebook, with its default window of the last 90 days, found 13K related ads, 2.8K after strict deduplication. Every advertiser was masked: names such as “AX***AL” and “Smart ***rector”, domains such as “intelligen***vercel.app”. The free plan also opens Facebook only, and our account ran out after ten searches in a day, twice the five a day BigSpy publishes.

BigSpy Free, “posture corrector”, Facebook, eCom, last 90 days: Found 13K related ads, 6.7K after default and 2.8K after strict deduplication; advertiser names and domains masked by BigSpy. Our account, October 14, 2026.

The Meta Ad Library names every advertiser and keeps no history. The same search, United States, active ads, returned about 1,700 results without logging in, each with the advertiser, the date it started running and the platforms. Stopped ads are not shown, which is why it found far fewer than BigSpy’s 90-day count.

Why each one is on the list

BigSpy sells channel breadth with a free way in, so the order follows how much of that breadth each alternative replaces, and how much it shows for free.

PowerAdSpy is first because it is the only alternative here that matches BigSpy on breadth. It carries 11 networks, the same count as BigSpy, and opens all of them on Palladium at $399 against $499 for BigSpy Ultimate. Basic at $69 covers Facebook and Instagram, the same money as BigSpy Starter. It has no free plan: its three-day trial costs $1 on Basic. The tiers are broken down in PowerAdSpy pricing.

Spytrend is second because it keeps the history BigSpy does not publish. Its free tier shows ads at least three months old, and Pro at $79 adds fresh ads and TikTok, which BigSpy opens only on Growth at $159. In our test of 20 Meta ads launched on 20 October, picked in Meta’s Ad Library before any tool was searched, it had 19 of 20 within two days; BigSpy’s free plan had 9 of the 19 it could search. Its tiers are on spytrend.com/pricing.

The Meta Ad Library is the free replacement for BigSpy’s free plan. It covers Facebook and Instagram, needs no account and names the advertiser on every ad. It shows running ads only and publishes no spend or engagement for commercial ads, so it answers what a brand runs today, not what it ran last quarter.

Dropispy is the cheapest paid way to keep searching Facebook. Premium costs €29.90 a month and adds advanced filters, audience metrics and a shop spy tool. Its free plan hides the last two months of ads and locks keyword search, so for free use it is narrower than BigSpy.

PiPiADS answers the most expensive step on BigSpy’s ladder: TikTok. BigSpy opens TikTok on Growth at $159; PiPiADS starts at $49 with TikTok first and Facebook beside it, sold as 30,000 credits. Its trial gives 500 credits but hides every ad newer than 90 days.

AdSpy is last because it replaces the least of BigSpy’s breadth. It covers Facebook and Instagram only, at $149 with no free plan, but publishes 213.7 million ads and 30.4 million advertisers across 225 countries. The single plan is broken down in AdSpy pricing.

What leaving BigSpy costs you

Some of what BigSpy bundles has no match on this page. These are the reasons to stay.

App ad networks

BigSpy lists AdMob, Unity Ads, Pangle and AppLovin beside the social networks. None of the alternatives here searches those app install networks, so for app and game advertisers staying is the honest answer.

A free plan that renews every day

BigSpy’s free plan is a plan, not a trial: Facebook only, about ten searches a day on our account against the five it publishes, renewed daily. PowerAdSpy and PiPiADS offer trials that end.

Products from 40 e-commerce sites

BigSpy lists products beside the ads. Of the alternatives here only Dropispy adds shop data, and only on its paid plan.

Creative downloads

Paid BigSpy tiers include daily creative downloads, from 50 a day on Starter to 3,000 on Ultimate, with 20 a day published for the free plan.

Before you switch, check three thingsWhich channels you actually used on BigSpy, because app networks have no replacement here. Whether you need to know who runs an ad, which BigSpy's free plan masks. And whether you need history: the Meta Ad Library shows running ads only.

Questions

What is the best BigSpy alternative?

It depends on what you use BigSpy for. For as many networks, PowerAdSpy carries 11, all of them at $399. For a free search that names the advertiser, the Meta Ad Library. For TikTok below BigSpy’s $159 tier, PiPiADS from $49 or Spytrend at $79.

Is there a free BigSpy alternative?

Three are free plans rather than trials. Spytrend’s free tier shows ads older than three months, the Meta Ad Library shows running Facebook and Instagram ads with every advertiser named, and Dropispy’s free plan hides the last two months. PowerAdSpy and PiPiADS offer trials only.

What is the best BigSpy alternative for Facebook ads?

For free, the Meta Ad Library: it showed about 1,700 running US ads for our test search, advertisers named. For the cheapest paid plan, Dropispy at €29.90; for 30.4 million advertisers, AdSpy at $149. For ads that have already stopped, pick a paid archive from the table.

Does BigSpy free show who runs an ad?

Not fully. On our free account BigSpy masked advertiser names and domains with asterisks, such as “AX***AL” and “intelligen***vercel.app”. The free Meta Ad Library names the advertiser on every ad, so it is the free way to see who is behind a creative BigSpy shows.

Is there a BigSpy alternative for app and game ads?

Not on this page. BigSpy lists AdMob, Unity Ads, Pangle and AppLovin beside the social networks, and none of the alternatives here searches those app install networks. PowerAdSpy also counts 11 networks, but they are social, search and native ones, so app and game advertisers are better off staying on BigSpy.
